The winners received an opportunity to conduct a comparative study of digital companies overseas, such as Liferay in Sydney, Australia, and Cellum in Budapest, Hungary, as well as a cash prize of Rp 10 million ($700). Moreover, the best apps of each category are entitled to a cash prize worth a total of Rp 45 million.

The first place winner of the Telkom Hackathon 2018, Gifood, offered a unique solution that connected the restaurant and food proprietors with excess food with those in need. Meanwhile, the second winner, Sorella, offered a solution in the field of security with three main features: a panic button, a chatbot and Sorella group notify.

The director of digital and strategic portfolios of Telkom, David Bangun, congratulated all finalists for their efforts and creativity.
